Quartix Becomes Gold Partner To FTA Van Excellence Scheme.

Vehicle tracking and telematics provider Quartix has signed up as a Van Excellence Gold Partner for 2018 and 2019. Van Excellence is an industry-led scheme, run by the Freight Transport Association (FTA), which promotes the safe operation of vans, celebrates operators that demonstrate excellence and represents the interests of the van industry. Each Gold Partner supports the scheme in all its initiatives and helps promote best practice in van operations.

Andy Walters, CEO at Quartix said: “Van Excellence has a great reputation for promoting safe driving, and we are absolutely delighted to be associated with FTA and become a Gold Partner. Quartix is assisting over 10,000 customers with improving driver safety. With our SafeSpeed Database we are committed to promoting safe and efficient best practice in the operation of vans and commercial vehicles.”

Will Reeves, FTA’s Sponsorship and Advertising Manager, said: “I’m delighted that Quartix has agreed to be become a Van Excellence Gold Partner for 2018 and 2019. Their experience and knowledge will be very helpful during the road test in the Van Excellence Driver of the Year competition in July when their telematics will measure the driving style of each driver. As well as the Driver of the Year competition, our Gold Partners provide funding for a number of other initiatives including the Van Report, which is produced in the autumn.

“We look forward to working with Quartix over the next few years and developing new ideas to recognise the great work of the Van Excellence certified operators.”
