SEC Storage is delighted to announce that it has been selected as a finalist for the Supply Chain Excellence Awards for their racking solution within the new, 9,630sq/m refrigerated cargo terminal, which forms part of the Dover Western Docks Revival development for their customer, the Port of Dover.
The award entry, under the category of ‘Logistics Innovation’, showcases a high-density drive-in racking system designed to maximise offloading and receiving velocity to ensure the pallet retrieval process is as efficient as possible.

“Through the use of data, digital twinning and comprehensive statistical analysis, we could demonstrate the validity of our solution with complete confidence, and deliver a solution which fully met the operational requirements of the Port.
