FTA’s Autumn Conferences Set To Break Records In 2018.

Bookings for the Freight Transport Association’s 2018 Transport Manager conferences look set to exceed previous attendance numbers, with over 1,000 delegates already signed up to attend and bookings still coming in. The first event in the ten venue series takes place in Yeovil next week (Thursday 20 September) and with some venues around the country nearing capacity, anyone interested in attending is encouraged to book now to avoid disappointment.

The exclusive conferences, sponsored by Bridgestone Tyres, take place nationwide and each will include an address by the local Traffic Commissioner on their priorities for the coming year. In addition, the Commissioners will conduct a mock driver hearing at each venue, giving a unique insight into their decision making. Other sessions at the one-day events will include insights from the DVSA, as well as briefings on Earned Recognition, lowering emissions, Brexit, managing your maintenance provider, and smart tachographs.

Also sponsored by Brigade Electronics and Microlise, the conference series offers a unique insight into issues relevant to those using vehicles as part of their daily work and includes expert advice and guidance from leading industry speakers. It is the ideal way for anyone running a truck or van fleet, however large or small and whatever their industry, to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest developments.
