The Petit Forestier Group is continuing to invest in industry leading facilities to ensure that their customers receive the very best of operational service, compliance, and rental support.
As part of this investment, Petit Forestier will be officially opening their flagship Depot and Vehicle Maintenance Unit in Dartford on Thursday 23rd February 2023. Situated right by the Queen Elizabeth II crossing over the River Thames, the location is ideally situated to serve London and the Southeast of the country. It is also worthy of note that Petit Forestier has a further 3 (out of their 12 UK and Ireland) Depots close to the London and surrounding areas including Uxbridge, Letchworth, and Southampton, all of which are all well placed to serve the needs of vehicle operators in this part of the country.
The facility which represents a significant investment for the Group, has an 8,000 square meter footprint, and is complete with a state-of-the-art Vehicle Maintenance Unit comprising 4 HGV sized drive through workshop bays, Roller Brake testing and Training facilities. Environmental considerations incorporated into the design included Solar Panels on the roof of the building supplying power via a Battery Wall, and a waste fluid filtration system ensuring that no harmful waste enters the local drainage network from the maintenance unit.
The official opening of the Dartford Depot will take place on Thursday 23rd February 2023, with local customers invited to an ‘open house’ to view the superb facilities for themselves in addition to having the opportunity to look at some of the latest alternative fuel vehicles available from manufacturers and suppliers, such as Carrier Refrigeration, Volta Trucks, TEVVA, Renault and Iveco. Examples of Petit Forestier Rental vehicles and Cold Storage Solutions will be on show and available for immediate hire.
In addition to the Depot opening, the Petit Forestier UK team will be holding a GoGreen event involving several industry experts speaking about the latest alternative fuel and environmental innovations available to Temperature Controlled Vehicle operators.
